Eagle Eye...

Picked her up at about 2pm, Sunday, 5th of October. She looked so stunning!

Decided to bring her to my home via the 'make shift runway' road.

At home, we discussed about the 2 trips that i have planned for her. Nothing much happened other than that, we then left.

She did mention that she'd like to go to Daiso to buy somethings. Actually, i was thinking quite hard about where to take her to before Daiso. Museums crossed my mind,  and voila! She loves museums! Awesome!

Along the way, i started sharing with her about my dreams for my future family, how i wish i could bring my children up in the kinda environment that i feel would be most perfect! Feels really nice to share such things with the one you have feelings for.

First museum that crossed my mind, 'Memories at Ford Factory.' However, it was closed! I didn't know they closed on Sundays. I then asked her which museum she'd like to visit.

"Art Museum!" She said. Yup, she loves art, but she's not good at it. She was also telling me how she used to to collages of images cut from magazines, and keep them for posterity. I thought that was really sweet!

"Now i have one more reason to visit your home when i am in Japan!" i said.

The embarrassing thing was that, i wasn't able to locate the SAM! In the end, we went to ACM, Asian Civilisations Museum.

After which, we proceeded to 'Shinjuku Restaurant.' I have never seen her so so so happy before! She was really excited about going to that authentic Japanese restaurant. She asked if the chef was Japanese, as she feels that non-Japanese chefs produces 'non-Japanese shashimi.'

"I'll only give you the best!" was my reply to her question.

At the restaurant, i told her to order anything she felt like eating. Her eyes just lit up when she saw the menu!

"It feels just like i'm in Japan!" she exclaimed!

"Err...actually, we're not in Singapore. I'm in Japan now visiting you right now!" I replied.

"Haha...ya, true...my house is just nearby here!" she said with much excitement.

The food that she ordered was awesome! I really enjoyed it! Again, she looked so happy, and that really warmed my heart.

We then proceeded on to the Daiso @ Vivocity. Never been 'supermarket shopping' with a girl that i like before! She was just so cute! We took a basket trolley. I offered to push the trolley while she was infront guiding me...awww...i just found that so sweet!

Since we had like 1.5 hours before the movie starts, we went to Starbucks for some coffee. She said she needed a hot drink to keep warm. I also bought her a Starbucks teddy bear! Wanted it to be a surprise. I just suck at giving surprises!

We also had our first Japanese lesson there. Ah...times really flies. I promised her i'd write her a song. Gotta get started soon!

The show was about to start, we went to watch 'Eagle Eye.' A surprisingly awesome movie! Alittle bit related to the book i'm reading now.

Sent her back to hall after that. Watch her enter her room. A super good outing.

Next up, Genting Highlands!

The Black Swindler...

Monday, the 29th of September, 2008.

As promised, we met again. The plan was to have dinner at Miharu, where they served authentic Hokkaido ramen.

Picked her up from her hall at about 3.15 pm. We wore the same colour top! Navy blue! What a coincidence! Hmm...is it fate?

Anyway, I had to meet a client to collect some samples, so i brought her along. I like traveling in the car with her actually.

At Ubi TechPark where my client was located, i passed her a booklet of my CDs and told her to wait at the basement car-park for awhile.

Once i was done, i hurried down to the car-park, and along the way, bought a cake for her. She was listening to music while sleeping. My little princess was resting.

I knocked on my car door, "Ohaiyo!" i said.

She was listening to music from one of my CDs that apparently, her boyfriend likes too. I tried to act cool with that, even though deep in my heart, i felt shattered. Mid-way through our journey, she said she felt sleepy, and so i told her to take a nap, and that i would wake her up when we have arrived.

At Mohd Sultan Road, Miharu doesn't open for dinner until 6pm. I knew that she adores reading, and so i decided to bring her to Bongout, a Japanese book cafe for some drinks. She was absolutely ecstatic when she saw the place! She loves places like these, where the ambience is relaxing.

"Wonderful!" I thought, "I could bring her here again!"

I ordered a beer, while she ordered English tea, and before you knew it, my little princess scurried of to look at the display of books that were available. In the meantime, i was just sitting there, sipping my beer, and savouring the moment.

"Nana!" she exclaimed! "It's the only manga i read! My friends 'forced' me to read this manga. I need to keep up with it if not i won't have anything to say!" she continued.

"I'm glad you could find this manga here!" i said, truly feeling happy for her.

While she was reading her manga, i took a copy of that day's Straits Times and started reading as well.

6.15pm, and i asked if she wanted to proceed on to Miharu.

"A few more minutes please, i would love to finish reading this manga." she replied.

"Sure my little sister," i said. "Take your time."

Nothing much happened at Miharu. Oh! She was really happy to eat the ramen, and she ate really quickly because it was sooooo delicious!

"Let's go for a movie?" i asked. "I feel like watching Kurosagi!"

"OK!" was her joyful and unique reply.

I initially brought her to Cathay, but Kurosagi was not screened there. We ended up back at Cineleisure, the place where i first brought her to watch a movie at, and also the first place in Singapore where she watched a movie.

Kurosagi was to be screened at 9.30pm, initially she felt it was too late, as she needed to study for an exam. She later changed her mind, and decided to watch it, much to my delight! The decision was made at about 8pm.

"Wanna head on to Takashimaya?" I asked her.

"Good idea!" She said, and off we went.

We shopped around Ngee Ann City. I explained to her about the architecture of Ngee Ann City, and before you knew it, we had to go back to Cineleisure. I brought her to the basement of Takashimaya first, and we saw this Japanese ice-cream shop. I straightaway asked if she'd like some ice-cream. Her eyes lit up, "i want green tea flavour!" she exclaimed excitedly.

We walked back to Cineleisure while eating our ice creams, some really good ice cream i must say! She really loves everything green! Too bad our 'Green Princess' had to leave on the 8th of October for Kelantan, if not we could have another date with her.

Once we entered Cineleisure, we saw a Famous Amos store. She loves chocolate, and wanted to try some of the chocolate products at the store. I bought her a chocolate muffin. We then proceeded to the 4th floor.

"Woah! The pop-corn que is so long!" i said to my dismay.

"It's ok, let's just forget about the pop-corn," she urged me.

Then i saw this tid bit store. We went there and bought some sweets instead.

Nice show! 'Kurosagi' is about a swindler who swindles swindlers, and for that, he is known as the 'Black Swindler.' Got it? Awesome!

"I wanna study in Yuko University!" I said to her while we were walking to the car-park. What i meant was that i wanted to learn Japanese from her.

"Sure! Haha, but it's gonna be tough!" she answered with a big smile.

I drove her back to hall, and along the way, i also brought her to take in some sights and sounds.

We arrived at her hall at about 12am. As usual, i walked her up to her room.

Next up, Shinjuku for shiyokara. Wishing her all the best for her exam!

Living my dream.

Life truly is full of surprises. I have the Gohonzon, and now i have found the inspiration to chant abundant Daimoku.

My prayers have been answered almost instantaneously.

I brought her out on Thursday evening. We went over to my place in Mt Austin, JB. First time i had ever gone out with a girl that i'm crazy over, and even though she's already attached, it didn't matter, as i truly planned to enjoy the company. For the next few hours, we did many things that i could only dream about before!

From Mt Austin, we headed straight to Kota Tinggi. We chatted in the car on the way there. Talked about her problems and discussed the solutions. I offered some advice too. When we talked about chanting, i mentioned that recently i've been chanting a lot for a particular someone. Yup, i was chanting for her, but i didn't want to tell it to her.

Having arrived at KT, we had an awesome seafood dinner at 'Restoran Public.' I ordered food that she loves, prawn, squid, vegetables and a fish. She totally enjoyed the food. Her reaction to it was just so pure and cute! It warmed my heart tremendously seeing how happy she was. Did i mentioned that she reminded me a lot of one of my first cousins? That's right! Even the way they laughed was so similar!

Firefly viewing was next. It was just after a rain, and the night sky over KT was cloudless. We waited for the boat to take us along Sungai Johor. Once we set off from the river jetty, it was pitch dark. We looked up, wow! The sky was full of stars, and she was really overwhelmed by that beautiful sight! Right there and then, everything felt so right to me, and i realised that i was no longer in a dream, i living it out! When the boat took us further down the river, the sight of the fireflies that greeted us was totally unexpected. Even i had never seen fireflies in such a brilliant display before!

"You are a very lucky girl today," i said to her. "I feel very happy for you!."

The boatman then shook one of the firefly trees so that we could catch a firefly or two. Well, one of them did stick on to her alright. It was as if the firefly was trying to woo her!

"This is my new found pet!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah, you've found a new friend!" I replied.

It truly was a magical night, a treasure that i will forever keep in my heart.

Back in Mt Austin. We wanted to watch a movie at Aeon Tebrau City. We went there and voila, the cinema was closed! I knew how much she love movies, and when we found out that the cinema wasn't opened, i was so embarrassed.

"Don't worry," she said. "Maybe it's best that you go retire to bed, since you require 8 to 10 hours of sleep before our flight tomorrow."

Those words just melted me, and from there we proceeded back to the carpark, but before that, we did some late night shopping at Jusco supermarket since it was still opened!

"Oh no! This carpark exit is closed!" I said in disbelief. "I think we need to walk quite a big round to our particular carpark now, is it ok for you?" i asked.

"Of course!" She replied.

"Thank you! If you are too tired to walk, let me know, and i'll carry you!" i said.

"Haha, ok then!" She said as she pretended to hop on my back!

This small little action of hers impacted me a great deal. It may not be much, but once again, it made my heart melt. I felt even more closer to her. Am i being too sensitive? Ah well, whatever it was, like i said, i just wanted to enjoy living out my dream.

While walking that one big round, more bonding took place, and i learnt a whole lot more about her.

Back at my home, we chatted at the 'Family Corner,' over Pepsi Cola, i also showed her my childhood pictures. We then proceeded to do evening Gongyo together. It was just so surreal. I've always wanted to do Gongyo alone with the girl of my dreams, and it actually happened! I then retired to bed after Gongyo, while she proceeded to use my laptop. That night, somehow, i couldn't really sleep. I kept dreaming about her.

7.30am the next morning, a Friday, we both awoke to stormy skies. Bad news for me, as it meant that we might not be able to fly! We did morning Gongyo and Daimoku together before setting off. The weather seemed a little bit better at the airport, but the sky was still not 'piper warrior friendly.' We proceeded on to the hanger anyhow and I ran through the external aircraft checks together with her. We then waited at the hanger for the skies to clear up. Waited, waited and waited until we decided to go for some breakfast.

We went to the main airport terminal for some pastry. It took my mind off the weather for awhile because we couldn't see what's going on outside. Was really pleased that she enjoyed the breakfast.

After that, we headed straight back to the cargo apron. The weather turned for the better, and our 'Green Princess' awaited us. It was as if this aircraft was meant for her! She loves the colour green! It was my last flight with the 'Green Princess,' and she was here to share the moment with me. Nice!

"Yeah! It's good to go!" i said as we hopped on board the aircraft.

We flew to the west of the airfield, before we headed for South of Gunung Pulai. I showed her the reservoir where Singapore buys water from. I also handed controls of the aircraft to her most of the time. It was her first time operating an aircraft.

I did a touch and go later on, and after that, we landed the 'Green Princess' together. My hand on top of hers controlling the throttle. I just find that so sweet!

Lunch was after the flight, brought her to Austin Hills Country Club for some makan. And then, we went back to my JB home. I took a nap while she utilised my laptop. She then decided to also take a nap while i headed to my factory to do some things.

Damn, traveling to the factory alone, i kinda felt sad. Started to miss her. Started to like her even more. It's a feeling, well, not a very good feeling i must say, that is really hard to describe.

Back home, while she was still asleep, i kept thinking about her still, and i also still couldn't really believe that she's so 'close to me yet still so far,' if you know what i mean.

As the Gohonzon was just beside the room she was sleeping in, i decided to chant. Nevermind that she couldn't be mine, i just wanted to relish the moment that she is physically near me with the Gohonzon. While chanting, thoughts again were running through my mind. I started to chant for her to wake up from her rest and chant beside me Lo and behold, she suddenly appeared from the room, knelt beside me and chanted!

We did a good 15 minutes of Daimoku and Gongyo. After which, I then showed her my scenes in Singapore Dreaming and also let her listen to an episode of 'The Buddhist Podcast,' where i sent a shout-out for her and other Soka Unversity school mates. She was pleasantly surprised i must say. Too bad Jason, the podcaster, said her name wrongly. However, i assured her that he will correct his mistake on the next episode.

"Please tell me when the next episode is out!" she said in an excited manner!

"You bet!" I responded.

Out of the blue, i just suddenly asked her a question.

"Have you watched the Kansai Bunkasai before?" i asked.

"No," she replied.

"Really? Wow! There are so many firsts when you come out with me!" I exclaimed. "Let's watch it together!" i continued.

Watching the culture festival DVD with her was also what i was hoping for, and again, dream came true!

After that, we headed back to Singapore, on the way out, i suddenly asked her if she had a pen, as i forgot to bring mine out, and i needed to write something.

"Yup, i do, i brought 2 pens out today, one for you and one for me." she replied.

"That's really very thoughtful of you!" I said, " I'm honestly truly very touched by your thoughtfulness!" i continued from the bottom of my heart. That was just one of her attributes that i really felt attracted to. She really is an awesome young lady!

Back in Singapore, we went to Causeway Point to watch "Mama Mia." Another surprise, for me at least, awaited us there. My mum, sister and brother were also there watching the same movie by coincidence! Which meant that i also got to introduce her to my siblings, something that i found really heart warming! Felt like i was introducing a girlfriend to them. Actually, for now, all i can do is treat her like my younger sister, and hope that my parents would adopt her as their god daughter!

All good things must come to an end though. I had to send her back to her halls residence. I sent her up to her doorstep, bade her farewell, and promised to take her out for some delicious authentic Japanese ramen on Monday.

Another date for another day.

Political Landscaping..

Congratulations Datuk Seri Anwar! You are definately an inspiration to me!

I have been following your campaigns and ceramahs very closely and there was no doubt in my mind that you and your partners would achieve victory. Thank you for ushering a new dawn in the political landscape of Malaysia!

Yes! The opposition in Malaysia has denied the ruling coalition a 2/3 majority. Kudos also to DAP, PKR and PAS for this wonderful accomplishment!

Now is the time for Singaporeans to follow in our neighbour's footsteps. We are given a voice, use it! And to the opposition forces in Singapore, get your act together, like how your counterparts in Malaysia have done!

More 'debates' and less 'presentations' in parliament please!

Thriller 25

Ok...i know it's been a very long time since i last wrote...i think it's been about close to 0.5 years?

Anyways, i'm really excited about the release of 'Thriller 25.' Michael's just awsome, he never fails to inspire me. I wanna meet him some day!

Today is also the 'chu liu,' the 6th day of the new lunar calender.
