I'm in 'Singapore Dreaming!'

ferring Listening to Teresa Teng's songs right now....reminiscing about stuff...hai....

Ahem...er...anyways...well...i bought the 'Singapore Dreaming' DVD yesterday....oh ya...before i continue, here is today's quote from http://ikedaquotes.org

"Ultimately, our battle is with ourselves. Whether in our activities in society, or whether in historical, political or economic developments, everything essentially boils down to a struggle between positive and negative forces."

As i was saying...yeah...bought the 'Singapore Dreaming' DVD yesterday, and guess what? I'm in it, albeit for a short while! As mentioned in my previous entry, i was supposed to portray a nerd who confesses to the lead actress. Two scenes were shot, but they weren't used in the end. However, i still appeared in 'Singapore Dreaming' as an office boy! How cool is that? Thank you Colin and Joycelin!

I strongly urge all of you to get a copy of the DVD. It's a really awesome movie...really! Very compelling, realistic and entertaining!

Some people ever said to the directors of the movie that they have achieved the 5Cs, and yet they still feel unhappy, why is that so?

In the Soka Gakkai, that is exactly what we are trying to deal with, the happiness of each individual, and not just relative happiness, we are more concerned about absolute happiness.

"As long as we are alive we will experience sufferings. But that does not mean we have to be unhappy. Unhappiness comes from allowing ourselves to be controlled by life's ups and downs—from feeling defeated, from losing hope, losing courage, losing the will to advance."

That is another quote from http://ikedaquotes.org

Indeed, alot of us are controlled by the ups and downs of life, by the comparisons that we make, and by our own weaknesses. I am also guilty of that, but to change is never easy.

Theatrically, 'Singapore Dreaming' is truly wonderful. The feeling of nostalgia that i personally can feel from the movie is at times overwhelming. This was definitely a movie for me to learn from.

Got to go sleep now. Tired. Good night!
